GATE 2018 Preparation Survey from Toppers on, Be the next Topper !

Well everyone wants to clear the GATE exam with good marks as some aspire to get a job in PSU’s and some want to go for further studies. But how to not just clear but get good marks in the exam is quite a big thing to be done. So, here we are with a survey from the toppers in the past about how to clear GATE exam with good marks.

 

When asked from the toppers then the above were the results which revealed that about 38 % of them used to study for less than 4 hours daily for preparation whereas only 7.4% used to study for 10-12 hours daily which means hours don’t matter but the quality of study and concentration while studying does matter.

 

When asked from the toppers then the above were the results which revealed that 34.6% of toppers spared 8 months for continuous preparation whereas only 12.3% toppers spared about 4 months of preparation.

 

When asked from the toppers then the above were the results which revealed that 32% of the toppers gave only 2 hours to theory daily while 11% toppers gave 5 hours to theory daily.

 

When asked from the toppers then the above were the results which revealed that 29 % toppers were not able to do the numerical in given time while practising for examination whereas only 18 % were there who actually always did in time.

 

When asked from the toppers then the above were the results which revealed that 58 % toppers said that Self Study and Internet helped them in getting good rank and 32% toppers said that Coaching helped them in getting good rank.

 

When asked from the toppers then the above were the results which revealed that 84% of toppers wanted to have a good future which gave them self-motivation and which made them prepare for IES or GATE exam whereas 7.3& toppers never knew why they were preparing, it’s just they wanted to do and they did.

 

 

When asked from the toppers then the above were the results which revealed that 38 % topper’s study was affected by either parent pressure, friends clearing exams, distractions in class or doubts were not clear. Whereas 25 % toppers confessed that their doubts were not clear which was the major reason why their studies used to get affected.
