As the GATE exam is over, its time all the candidates plan their next strategy. The result must have cleared all the things as to where you stand and what your next step after GATE 2019 is going to be. Depending on your score, we will help you figure out the options that you have and the road you should be moving on.

 

For candidates with good GATE score:

Good score implies the score which is valid. The score that fulfills the eligibility criterion.

 

  • Admission to IITs/IIMs for M.Tech. IITs have started sending out notifications for admission in M.Tech through GATE exam score. The table below shows the basic details of notification by different IITs. The details are random as of now and we will keep you notified of all the notifications through our blogs.

The random minimum score in GATE exam that is required to get admission in big institutions is as follows:

IIT Roorkee GATE score of 28-78
IIT BHU GATE score of 400-600

Government Engineering Colleges Up to AIR 2500

 

  • Tech in NITs: for admission in NITs, CCMT counseling will begin in the month of May. Pay the admission fee and the fill your choice of NIT as per your eligibility.
  • PSUs: if you are interested in taking up the jobs instead of going for higher education, you can apply for PSUs. The hiring notifications are regularly updated on our website. Kindly keep a check and apply on the ones that work for you. For recent PSU updates, Click here.
  • There are institutions which only take the personal interviews before taking in M.Tech candidates. Prepare for the main subjects, look for the previous interview experiences, you will find many on the internet.

 

For candidates who did not get a very nice score:

Even if you didn’t manage to get that top score, the options are not blocked. You can:

  • Apply for jobs that do not take the GATE score but conduct their own exam.
  • There are institutes that conduct their own exam for even the M.Tech admissions.

 

To summarize it all, if you didn’t qualify for GATE this time, this is not it! Give your preparation for another chance and work hard for the next year.
