Well, we all are aware of the problems engineers are facing during and after their Degree. But now the government is coming up with some good way outs to handle the situation and increase the level of engineering in engineers of our country.
To do this earlier they started giving preference to GATE exam which is a competitive exam based on engineering, this resulted in students to think about GATE and getting admission in good colleges for higher studies. Then, they started giving preference to GATE Qualified Candidates in getting PSU jobs due to which some private companies like L&T also employed engineers on the basis of GATE. Then the government started giving preference to GATE exam as the selecting criteria for other important PSU’s like BSNl etc who used to have their own examinations but now they also employ on the basis of GATE Score.
Now, recently they have again said that a new procedure is being made through which in the last year an examination needs to be cleared by the student and they will get a score on the basis of that score the employability of the student or the actual knowledge and readiness of the student can be scaled which will also eliminate the extra and just degree holders from the queue and will also give preference to the deserving candidate’s instead of those who are getting employment on the basis of links, network or bribe.
So, now be ready because it might also be possible that GATE becomes compulsory for every engineering graduate. Although there is no exact decision made yet but an expected big boom is being expected from AICTE very soon. So, we suggest every engineering graduate to focus on their studies and start preparing for GATE exams right now as it might become the GATE – WAY for your better career.
